Greetings. I'm Catherine. As you've found your way to my blog, chances are you either know me in real life or you met me on livejournal, either way you probably know enough about me not to need to read a blurb. Never mind though, I'm in the mood to write and my fanfic is being awkward.

I live in Hull, which is in the north east of England and is simultaneously the most boring and chav filled town in the world, as well as having earned the distinction of being named most crap town in Britain.

I tend to jump from obsession to obsession, always have, always will. The first one I remember was when I was about four an I was obsessed with the Thundercats. Obsessions strike randomly and without warning, taking over my life and forcing me to spend hours writing and reading fanfic, drawing rubbish pictures, trawling the internet for more information on the obsession and seeking out anything connected to it in any way, often creating sub-obsessions, like the Nathan Barley one I am working my way through now, having reached by way of the Mighty Boosh.

Obsessions tend to be based around television shows or books, almost always comedy or sci-fi, and once obsession sets in, I will talk about it until everyone either gets bored and goes away or gets sucked in and joins me.

So, if you haven't already, you might want to turn around and run, hit back in your browser window and pretend you were never here, getting to know me may be bad for your mental health.
